Dr. Bitner is originally from California, but was raised in Utah. Dr. Bitner completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Utah with a degree in Biology and then moved on to the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. He continued his education with a certificate in endodontics at Temple University School of Dentistry.
Dr. Bitner had been in private practice in Oregon since 2006 and has owned Cascade Endodontic Group since 2013 and Summit Endodontics since 2025. During that time, he has volunteered his time to various organizations and has served on the Central Oregon Dental Society Board and for the Lane County Dental Board and served as its president.
He loves spending time with his wife, six kids and their three dogs. He grew up in the shadow of the Rocky Mountains and used them as his playground. You would be hard pressed to find some outdoor activity he does not enjoy. His favorites are spending time with his family, surfing at the lake, traveling, golfing, biking, skiing/snowboarding, and camping.
Dr. Weinstein was born and raised in Buffalo, NY. He completed his B.A. in Biology from the University at Buffalo and obtained his D.D.S. from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in 2019. He went on to complete a general practice residency at King’s County Health Center in Brooklyn, NY. After practicing as a general dentist in Buffalo, Dr. Weinstein pursued specializing in endodontics and received his certificate in endodontics from University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 2024. Dr. Weinstein is a board-eligible endodontist with plans to become board certified by the American Board of Endodontics as soon as possible.
Growing up with a general dentist as a father (and several family members in dentistry), Dr. Weinstein learned early on to treat patients with compassion and respect, and that the patient always comes first. The decision to walk away from working with his dad was not easy, but his passion for endodontics made the choice clear.
While training in Pittsburgh, Dr. Weinstein was searching for the right place to call home once he completed residency. Looking for a tight-knit community and a variety of all-season outdoor activities, he was happy to find that central Oregon checked all the boxes. In his free time, you can find Dr. Weinstein rock climbing, mountain biking, snowboarding or on the water.
